Statistical Test Flowcharts

Commonly used statistical tests for Six Sigma Project Managers. It is critical to establish the correct alpha and beta risks and gather the minimum sample size to ensure the power that is necessary.

If the:

p-value is > alpha-risk, then fail to reject the Ho (null hypothesis).

p-value is < alpha-risk, reject the Ho and infer the HA (alternative hypothesis).
